THIS BAND BEGAN AS A SIDE PROJECT.

Kerry here! I have played in bands and been making music all of my life. This project began as a few jam sessions with my old bandmate and drummer, Tom Lasky. From those first few ideas I sat down and came up with about 125 more song “sketches” during and after the pandemic.

Since then, the band has evolved into a collaboration with a number of my very talented musical friends from the great state of Ohio, including Dean Anshutz (drums) and Eric Hall (guitar).

In late 2023, we released our debut EP, Past, Present, Future— The goal has been to create music that blends some favorite sounds of Indie Rock from the mid 2000s with Southern Rock guitar as well.

PRESSING OUR FIRST VINYL!

Having vinyl pressed is a big step forward for this band—mainly because we love vinyl. (Dean even went so far as to open a record shop in Youngstown!)

I also really enjoyed designing the vinyl art since it’s a much larger canvas than a CD or the tiny streaming squares. But more than anything, this release feels like planting a flag—a statement that this band is here to stay, and we’re going to grow more than ever this year.

Not only does this vinyl include the six tracks from Past, Present, Future, but we’ve also added three unreleased songs:

THERE ARE THREE ON THIS DELUXE VINYL VERSION OF "PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE" EP

One song is a cover of Billie Eilish "When the Party's Over" that we recorded last year.
The goal with the Billie cover was to completely flip the song on its head, and take it from a very slow vocal harmony song, and turn it into an indie rock song.

The second, “Heartless” Live-in-studio, was done in Jan '24 at the last minute. I realized some of the guys that played on it would be in town (Columbus, OH) at the same time. Tom, who played drums on the studio and live version, tours as a drum and guitar tech for a number of bands (Avett Bros, Kacie Musgraves, Fleet Foxes) so he tends to be hard to nail down.

The third unreleased track is called "Beneath the Wheel" and it's a collaboration with a long time writing partner, Ben Meinhold, whom I (Kerry) played with in The Floorwalkers. He also plays bass on the song!

HOW IT WORKS

Vinyl pressing takes 9-12 weeks – Orders expected to ship by August (hopefully sooner!)
